Sing for a Cause – Alzheimer’s benefit concert

Cincinnati, OH -On March 23, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. and March 24, 2013 at 3 p.m. the Lakota West and Taylor High School choral programs will join together with the May Festival Youth Choir and the Cincinnati Symphony Youth Orchestra for the third annual Sing for a Cause.  The concert will include a performance of the Ralph Vaughan Williams Dona Nobis Pacem by the combined ensembles as well as individual performances by each choir and the CSYO.  All profit made from ticket sales, donations, and sponsorships will go to the Alzheimer’s Association of Cincinnati.  The concert will take place at the College of Mount St. Joseph, 5701 Delhi Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45233.  Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors.  To order tickets go to www.cincinnatisymphony.org/csyo.  To make a donation please contact Bret Albright at balbright@trlsd.org or 513-824-7400.

 

Wright Patterson Air Force Band of Flight’s “Wright Brass” Concert on Friday March 22, 2013 at 7p.

Concert is FREE.  Concert will be in the College Theatre on the campus of the College of Mount St. Joseph at 7:00p.

Wright Brass is a brass quintet with a percussionist. The group plays military ceremonies, local concerts, and tours throughout the Midwest. They have performed at a number of international music symposiums including the 1995 International Brassfest held in Bloomington, Indiana and the 2004 American Brass Band Festival in Danville, KY. Wright Brass features many original arrangements and has developed a complete entertainment package designed to appeal to diverse audiences
